Leagues, ratings and the big events.

From a weekly bar league to the Mosconi Cup: who runs the game, how amateurs get rated and matched, and the professional events worth following.

Billiard sports are organized under one umbrella body, the World Confederation of Billiards Sports, which brings together separate federations for pool, snooker and carom. Below that sit the professional tours, and below those the amateur leagues where most people actually play. The pages below cover each layer, starting with the leagues because that is where most readers will begin.
